{"id":5368,"date":"2018-10-03T11:33:27","date_gmt":"2018-10-03T09:33:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.syclope.fr\/?p=5368"},"modified":"2019-05-24T15:38:32","modified_gmt":"2019-05-24T13:38:32","slug":"billere-swimming-pool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/syclope.novae.website\/en\/billere-swimming-pool\/","title":{"rendered":"Bill\u00e8re France swimming pool and its chlorine generator"},"content":{"rendered":"[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<h1><strong>Public Swimming pool of Bill\u00e8re (64)<\/strong><\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\n<h2><strong>1st swimming pool in Nouvelle Aquitaine (France) equipped with a chlorine generator in site<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Bill\u00e8re Pool was the first pool in New Aquitaine to be equipped with a chlorine generator or more commonly called <strong>salt chlorinator for the production of chlorine on site<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In order to better protect its employees when handling chlorine for water treatment, Bill\u00e8re&#8217;s Pool has been looking for new equipment to replace its chlorine tanks and avoid any handling of dangerous chemicals.<\/p>\n<p>The salt electrolyser or in situ sodium hypochlorite generator transforms the salt contained in a brine into chlorine by the physical phenomenon of electrolysis. This makes it possible to disinfect swimming pools with chlorine in a way that is as qualitative as ever and with the following advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No deliveries and handling of dangerous products,<\/li>\n<li>The generation of chlorine is done on site (storage in a buffer tank),<\/li>\n<li>The chlorine stored in the technical rooms is replaced by simple bags of salt pellets,<\/li>\n<li>3 kg of salt is needed to produce 1 kg of 100% active chlorine which allows to obtain a real financial advantage (salt is much cheaper to buy than the main chlorinated compounds on the market).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Many assets<\/h2>\n<p>The City of Bill\u00e8re has decided to work with SYCLOPE Electronics because the <a href=\"\/en\/produit\/electrolyseur-de-sel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chlorine generator<\/a> offers, in addition to the security aspect, various operating advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Equipment easier to handle and maintain<\/li>\n<li>Electrolyser equipped with a suction of hydrogen (H2) by ventilation as well as an H2 detector in the air for safety<\/li>\n<li>Device to reduce operating and maintenance constraints and thus reduce maintenance and investment costs compared to membrane technologies<\/li>\n<li>Less clogging at the injection site (use of softened water)<\/li>\n<li>Less product used during pH correction (the pH of the solution produced being between 8.5 and 9.5, this reduces the use of pH-)<\/li>\n<li>Installed turnkey installation (skid mounted) thus facilitating commissioning and operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a year now the Bill\u00e8re Pool uses the chlorine generator in-situ and is very satisfied with its operation, efficiency and
